Help! UTI again

I'm 25 weeks and I am starting what I believe to be my 6th or 7th UTI since becoming pregnant. I only got antibiotics for the last 2. I have an appointment Monday morning so I'll ask about this again but what could be the cause of this? I've never had this problem like this. Any suggestions on how to prevent them better? I drink mostly water (lots of it), I'm hygienic down there, and I'm not sure how else to prevent it.

Drinking plenty of water helps. Urinating after intercourse helps as well. Make sure you are urinating often. Holding urine for long periods of time can cause urine to become stagnant and increase chance of UTI.
Your doctor should test your urine to verify what type of bacteria is causing your infections and to be sure you are on the right antibiotics to treat it as some bacteria are resistant to certain antibiotics.
Good luck and hope you feel better.

Try taking a cranberry supplement on a regular basis.
