Help please !

I am unsure if I may be pregnant, I had sex and contraception failed, so got emergency contraception within 14 hours. I had a short period 5 days after taking EC (therefor 3 weeks early) and my next period is now due and I have only had brown discharge and slight bleeding. However, I had the contraceptive implant fitted 6 days after taking the EC (7 days after sex) and am unsure whether the irregular periods are due to that or to the fact I may be pregnant. (I have taken a pregnancy test recently and it came back negative although I've heard a lot about pregnancy tests being false). Any help on this would be appreciated.

I dont thnk that it's that the pregnancy test are false, i think that it it's ppl taking them at the wrong time of their cycle.  I read on another web site "JustMommies" than implantation occurs 7-10 days after fertilization. So if you got the EC, you may have gotten it in time. The best time to test is if you usually have a regular cycle every 28 days and generally if you miss your period then you test usually about a week after you miss your cycle. Um, this discharge could be due to the med's and at times it can be old blood and the start of your cycle. If you still feel uneasy after the hpt and  got a neg result then retest in a week and after this you still get a negative I think that you should be able to count this as a neg and there is no baby.I hope this info helped if not check out Just mommies, best to ya! :-)
