Help please?

Ok, Im sure the normal people on here have seen my questions on here before about my recent pregnancy. I have had my little girl! She was born Dec 23 and was healthy and beautiful! She is the light of my life and I am so happy to have her!

Here's my problem, I think I might already be pregnant with baby 2 and I am really freaking out.

It has been 6 weeks since she was born and I have been cleared for "regular activity" if ya catch me so her father and I resumed activity. ONLY ONCE. I am on the pill and have been since week 3 when I went in to the doctor for early work release she told me to go ahead and start taking it then since Im not breast feeding anymore and said it should kick in in 2 weeks and put my hormones and my cycle back in check.

Well, as I said, my fience and I resumed activity once without back up contraception which was my misake for not taking extra precaution. I think that I am having implantation bleeding. I havent gotten a period since giving birth and this "spotting" isnt like normal spotting that Im used to. I thought maybe I was just irritated from not being used to having sex post partum but Im starting to think thats not the case. Bleeding is a brownish red color and wearing a pantiliner I dont fill it but its not just a tint on it either.

I know that im very very fertile after having my little girl and maybe I just misconstrued what the doctor said about being back on the pill and thought one time wouldnt be something really to worry about but now I am worried...

Please help!

Thata what I first thought but if it is then it has to be from that and a mix of my over productive hormones from having the baby because when I first started it this never happened. I'm on trinessa (28) if that helps lol

It may be from the birth control

i had the typical bleeding after delivery while everything was kind of going back to normal and everything but that stopped week 3 for the most part and the coloring was different it was like a really heavy period and then when it started to stop it was like a light period. this bleeding is more consistent with spotting but coloring is different and i guess thats more why im worried. its not mixed with any discharge and its less than a quarter size a day.

if i am pregnant again it will be tough and we arent prepared for it cuz we werent going to start trying again until our baby is about 2 if we chose to have another one.

not sure. Ill wait and see how this pans out the next few weeks I suppose and then test and see what it says at that point.

Bcp's usually take about a month to regulate. The bleeding could be normal, same thing happened to my sister. She had irregular bleeding /spotting for about 2 months. You should definitely test for some reassurance.

Did you bleed/have discharge after delivery? With my first, I noticed mine came and went but lasted quite long - maybe close to 2 months? I'm not sure what effect being on the pill would have on that sort of discharge but it sounds likely to me... Of course, the only way to know for sure is to wait a few weeks and take a test. Good luck!
