I went to my first doc apt today and he put the doppler on my stomach and there was no heart beat and then measured my uterus amd said its large and im probley around 9 weeks. With my son he could hear it a 11 . I go for a ultrasound later but has this happend to anyone else im still getting sick and stuff

That's weird he wouldn't do a transvaginal ultrasound. I hope everything works out for you and baby.

My dr didnt even listen for a heartbeat till 12 weeks. But they saw his heart beat on my first ultrasound at 6 weeks.

I saw the heartbeat on ultrasound but my doctor didn't want me back until 12 weeks. She said even at 11 weeks some times they can't hear it and she didn't want me to be scared so I set it up for 12 1/2 weeks.

Thats what i figured i meen he didn't say anything until i noticed i didn't hear anything im a second time mo so im not new to this but just concerned. Thank u lades

My baby's heartbeat was heard at 10 weeks but I'm also really small my doc said if she weren't able to find it not to worry but she found it right when she was about to stop trying. So don't worry.

My doc couldn't hear my baby's heartbeat at 9 weeks bc of the way they were position but right at 10 weeks they could hear it. You are still pretty early for them to be able to hear it

They cant hear heartbeat w a doppler til like 12 to 14 weeks. Dont worry!!

That happened to my mom with my sister, she was hiding in her back. BUT, my mother is considered morbidly obese so that explained why they couldn't find her, my mom was too large. I'm guessing your smalled then 300 lbs, so I might be a little alarming but don't give up all hope yet, baby could just be positioned differently.
