Dont try to lose weight while pregnant.that is not healthy for ur baby or u.. u have plenty of time after the baby
I gained like 20 lbs in my first 4 months. I thought I was gaining too much too fast but between 4 and 6 months I maintained a steady weight gain . If your dr isn't concerned I wouldn't worry. Just remember it's all for the baby and you will work it off after baby is here :) just eat healthy and drink lots of water. Like everyone else said it's probably bloating and water weight.
At the moment you are probably experiencing lots of bloating, I felt so chubby in the beginning because of it. Until you bump really takes shape you in that weird limbo stage of not really looking pregnant, I just felt fat lol.
Depending on you BMI your doctor will advise you on what is a healthy weight gain for your pregnancy, you are probably eating more now but that will start to slow down. I really wouldn't advise dieting, but healthy balanced diet and light exercise if you feel up to it is the best thing! I think I have gained about 20kg and gone up a clothes size or two, remember the weight gain is definitely not all you (baby, fluid, placenta, boobs) it all adds up.
Just remember you are growing a beautiful little human, you are not getting fat!! My best advice is just embrace the changes in your body, you can worry about loosing a weight later and I'm sure a newborn will keep you on your toes lol.
Congrats and all the best :)
