Last month I had what I thought was period,but it lasted 12 days.Could I have been pregnant and had a miscarriage?If I go to my doctor now will she be able to tell me?

Thank you.Called the docotor and she wants me to have an ultrasound on friday.

It's possible, especially if you had bad cramping at any point throughout the bleeding or just prior to it.  A trip to the doc probably won't be able to tell you if it was a miscarriage unless there is residual tissue left in the uterus.  Personally I don't think a trip to the doc is warranted just yet, I would wait and see if your next cycle comes as normal.  If anything is different, then make an appt. It's not uncommon for women to miscarry and never even know it.
