Congratulations on baby #2! I can only echo the others - best for baby to come when baby is ready so long as you're about 38 weeks or more. Yay, so exciting!

Like the others have said baby will come when the time is right. Your OB will monitor you to make sure baby isn't getting too big. I am having an u/s at 36 weeks to check baby's size since he is already measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. As of now they plan to induce me so that he doesn't come out an 11 pounder. I'm sure you are anxious to have your new little one in your arms but trust in your doctor and keep baby in there as long as is necessary. No one can ever pinpoint when you will actually go into labor! Wouldn't that be nice??? :)

It just depends when baby and your body are ready. I had my first at 38 weeks and my second at 36 weeks (had pre-term labor). Second babies typically come earlier or around the same time, but it's not true for everyone.

Baby will come when its ready.
I had my first at 32 weeks, my second at 41 weeks(induced) and my third at almost 42 weeks(induced). I am currently 37.5 pregnant with my fourth child and have been having contractions for a few days but still waiting for his arrival.
