You can eat pasteurized honey. It is better for you than processed sugar or high fructose corn syrup. There is a lot of confusion because babies can't have honey, but your body digests it before it gets to your bloodstream, so it is just fine.

Any type of honey during pregnancy is bad it can cause you to get deiabtes. You also don't want have honey for the duration of breastfeeding because its not good for kids under the age of 2 because they don't have the stomachs acid to fully digest it
Honey is fine as long as it's pasteurized, like the kind that comes in the bear. Raw honey isn't good in pregnancy because it can pose a botulism risk
