Tanning..?
I know you're not supposed to go tanning while pregnant but I guess I'm not quite sure why. I know it can raise your body temp. Which is bad and also of course skin cancer lol but I have really bad seasonal depression and I used to go tanning every few weeks in the winter only for a few minutes each time to get some uv rays to help with my depression. I have already decided I won't go this year because I'm pregnant and i wouldnt want to hurt my baby but I was just wondering what the risks are.
Thank you. I know a few girls getting spray tans that are pregnant, I'm not too worried about getting tan though, that's what summer is for (=
The risks are cancer, raised core body temperature, trauma to the fetus. I've heard that spray tans are okay if u have Dr consent.
