OH and if you BF and you have a BF pillow you might want to bring that too
Also bring a list of names and numbers of people you want to call after the birth. I would bring baby wipes bc apparently the hospital ones aren't so good (most make you use just plan water and the first poop is SO sticky you need baby wipes or baby oil). If you want music for during labor, chapstick and lotion (hospitals can be dry), insurance info any hospital forms you need, tennis balls or other such things for massages during labor, gatoraide, any meds you take regularly... That's all I can think of to add to the list. Happy packing :)
uhhh.. I never did pack. I was unprepared, grabbed a few things & then sent friends & fam for stuff.
I was admitted to the hospital on bed rest a few weeks prior to delivery. Then ended up having a c-section. Thats my EXCUSE anyway.... That being said, maybe you all should have a bag packed already.
John isnt staying over night... He has a Phobia of Hospitals! But i am going to talk to him about it! Only because I dont want him like Dying on me! LOL.
But I think he will stay for Harry. So I will pack his stuff just incase, but I doubt it.
Ima writing it down and gonna stick it to my wall....
I'm sooo scared about all this! LOL... Ohhh!
I know a camera is a big one!
x
great list, Ashelen! Wow, you're good at this ! Now, where's a pencil so I can write all this down... You'd think by baby #FIVE i'd have this figured out, LOL.
Just want to add that for yourself, bring much larger clothes than you might think you'll be wearing home, LOL. Like maternity clothes you wore around month 5 or 6, or a loose-fitting comfy dress.
Also, the hopsital usually provides diapers, wipes, onesies, etc. and won't let you use your own, or dress the baby in its own clothes. So bring just a few things in case you're not going straight home form the hospital.
Thank you Ivy! I'm gonna copy paste what you wrote to a note on the comp and use it for this weekend, lol!
