Heartburn :(

I've had heartburn in my sleep every time for the passed 3 nights. I don't know what to do. I mean it goes away after a while I just don't want to rely on runs. So I've been drinking milk and laying on my left side but is there anyway I can prevent it before it happens?! It's been keeping me up and it's so obnoxious. My baby better be born with a full head of hair!

I drink a glass of milk right before I go to bed.. but I wake up sometimes 2 or 3 times a night and drink more milk. I usually lay on my right side though. Heartburn is the devil.

Don't eat a few hours before bed, elevate your head, take tums and walk around!

Instead of milk I'd try yogurt and maybe a couple crackers. It definitely helps to eat small frequent meals and don't eat anything acidic like tomatoes or oj close to bed time. Also stay away from spicy food in the evening.  And if you have heartburn I find that propping up on pillows helps.

I had it super bad too. Id wake up choking on it at night. See if your doctor will let you take prevacid. It really helps.

Well  35w and I'm being induced in 2w so I don't need to be prescribed anything really... Cause it's a little too late but this is the first time I've ever struggled with it

I've been suffering bad since the beginning of My pregnancy and it just got worse for me. Don't drink milk though because that makes it worse it's got another acid in it that won't help heartburn. You can have gaviscon go to your doctor he will prescribe you with something for it cos it does get worse sorry to say.

Oh my goodness. Same issue with me, I feel drinkng milk actually makes it worse for me. As soon as I feel the burn I take an antiacid. I dont know anyways to prevent it but have heard that eating small frequent meals help. Im giving that a shot. Hope this helps :)
