Chloe is BF and she eats between 2-3ozs every few hours, (when I pump that's how much she eats, I can't measure of course when she's on the breast). After 8 weeks she should be eating at least 6 times in 24 hours. Kellymom. com has some really great advice about breastfeeding, that's where I go whenever I have questions!
Suggested formula feeding for a 2 month old in this book my doctor gave me says 4-6 ounces 6-7 times a day. There is no ounce recommendations for breast feeding just that they should be fed 8-12 times per day. If you were going to pump and then bottle feed her I would assume that what they say for the formula would work for breast milk. Hope that helps!
All i can suggest is have a trial day and see how much she drinks and then when u leave her you will have a good idea how much u need to store
I pump 3 times a day, so I was asking because I wanted to know how many ounces I should pump.
If u breastfeed u dont need to count ounces which would be impossible to do. Just supply and demand. Baby will tell u when full and when he wants feeding again.
Hope this helps.
