I am 29 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I started getting my Braxton Hicks contractions, my question is, how often are you meant to feel them in a day, mine are pretty bad and earlier I had probably 5 within 10 mins and they went away for a bit now they are back again not as bad but one every 15 mins??

They checked for a UTI and its not that...
and I drink soooo much duuring the day (Mainly water and or Milk (Milk because of my weight, wanna get it up) and I have a cold sooo Im drinking LOADS,,, Probably about 3 litres a day (Which I have been told off for in the past because I washhed the salt out of my body!)

Im just one of those unlucky ones with PAINFUL BH!

Im just worried your dehydrated or a possible uterine infection which both can cause contractions! Take care of yourself girly!

I wont... if the pain killers dont work I will go back... I have to take them 4 -6 hrs without fail. LOL...
But I think they sent me home because my test came back negative that I was going to go into labour within 10 days, if that came back positive I would stil be there....

If they are painful and frequent i cant believe they didnt give you the shot to stop them or at least keep you til they stopped or gave you iv fluids. Frequent, painful contractions need to be addressed so pleasr dont hesitate to be seen again.

Lol. BH are nothing compared to actual contractions. Or at least that was the case for me. (Hence why I loved the lady who did my epidural) Don't worry. He should at some point.

Trust me. You'll know. Your water doesn't have to break for you to be in labour. They broke mine in the hospital when I was 9 cm.

Most babies will before labour actually sets in. You've still got plenty of time left.

dehydration causes BH. If you are getting them regularity and they are painful go to the dr and get checked out.

My doctor said also if more than 4 contractions in one hour to call them.  They will probably just want to check you out to make sure the contractions are not doing anything to your cervix just yet.  Drink plenty of water and rest esp when you feel them coming on.

Have you tried moving around differently, changing positions, drinking a nice big glass of water? I would get checked out if you try different things and they are still keeping up. I never had painful BH....I would feel them tighten but they never really hurt! Not saying they can't hurt but ya...better to be safe than sorry!
