shopping after due date?
So im 40 weeks and my mom is going shopping which is 30 minutes away from my home town, and 1hour and 15 minutes away from my hospital. Im over my due date and not sure if i should be going so far away from my hospital. I really dont want to go into labor while out of town or have my baby in a hopsital that i dont know the DR. in. What would you all do this far in pregnancy? I dont feel like baby is coming anytime, but you never know right?
Usually with your first baby your in labor for a lot longer but not always I would say youd havr time if something did happen. You could always call an ambulance and they will take you to your hospital
If its your first I think it would be fine. Labour generally takes more than an hour. Haha. If you went into Labour while shopping it would be a long and uncomfortable ride to the hospital but it would be ok. Unless you have already had a few contractions. But yea, go ahead, have fun
