How do I know If I Discharged Tissue?

So, Ive been thinking that I'm pregnant this month.  Today when i used the restroom however I had this strange, slimy red discharge.  If it were tissue that i was discharging would it be clotty or would it be slimy.  I'm trying not to get too freaked by it.  Would it be possible to damage an early pregnancy by having sex right after the egg implants itself in me?

I took a test today but I think that its too early for me to tell whether or not I'm pregnant.  I'm only 9 dpo, and the test was negative.  Thanks for the response.

If you discharge tissue you will know it. It will be solid, and light pink. If its a clot it looks different from tissue. Have you taken a pregnancy test yet to determine if you are pregnant? If you take one and its positive or already have, I would either call a dr right away or go to the er.
