Tilted Uterus/ How long????

Okay sorry to bother some of you again... My question is I just recently fount out that I have a tilted uterus and that I'm enemic but anywho... I was wondering how long it took for some of you to get pregnant with a tilted uterus???  Is there any special positions??  I heard it shouldn't matter... But then I also seen on some website that a women with a tilted uterus should have sex backward like (back facing man) and then after he ejaculates you should lie on your stomach for at least 20 mins.  Well I tried that... and hopefully excited to say that I could be pregnant since no period and 5 days late (usually comes on time).  So just wondering if you heard anything or knew anything... First of all it depends on HOW it's tilted.  In the cases of me and my mom our are tilted so that it's pretty well a STRAIGHT shot for the sperm to get where they need to be.  We both get pregnany REALLY easy.  I'm on pregnancy #7 in 13 years.  But I'm sure it can be tilted a different way and have the opposite effect.

Why in the world would you try to get pregnant without insurance?  I know this is almost a two year old forum but geez.  My husband and I were surpised by our first daughter and didn't have insurance.  All totalled we had to pay almost $14,000.  I can't imagine trying to get pregnant without insurance.

Thanks mel........ So me not being a smoker but my bf is should he take vitamins... See that is the thing I don't know when I O and all... And everyone tells me when... I'm not normal apparently it takes me a lot longer to figure out things.  But If that is the case and it could help... I will try anything.. Yeah I have been reading on that... Thing is I don't have insurance at the moment and I just can't go out and buy all types of meds and fertility drugs.. But on that website twoweekwait.com it had something that said pre-seed???  Anybody try or heard of that???  Oh btw how far along are you???  And congrats and good luck!!!

I'm a smoker here (well reformed) and my bf is too. Smoking does affect fertility-but there is a balance to everything. I took vitamins every day ( multi, vitamin e, vitamin a, selinium, lysine, Omega 3's and calcium) I also ate right excercised yada, yada, yada- I figured that made up for the drinking and smoking :) Still got preggo.

I pray you will have a successful pregnancy..  I thought smoking had something to do with it but wasn't quite sure.  But thanks for your help... I will try that if I'm not prego now...  Keep me updated!!!

I am 7 weeks 2 days today and hoping and praying for a healthy successful preg!!   Smoking does affect your fertility... but both myself and the babys dad were smoking at time of conception.  I have obviously quit for my health and the health oif my unborn baby.  The firsttime- we were both smokers as well.   My ob has toldme that smoking can affect your fertility.  I am divorced and when my x husband and I were trying it was determined that he had a low sperm count due to his smoking.  I think with doggie style- becasue the man is actually in deeper (excuse the bluntness) maybe you have a better chance.  If he slips out when he is cumming- well- yeah- that could be a prob.  LOL...

Really I try that to. But not to be gross or anything It seems to slide out or something does... And my fiance will just wipe it away... I wonder if the little spermies aren't getting to where they need to go???  Also another ? ummm if your man smokes cigarettes can that cause his count to be low or something... He wants baby too but he wants to smoke his cigs.  Aaahhhh I just wish he would quit for our sake if that could be a possibility whats wrong... Also sorry to go in all personal another thing  he isn't circumcised and I was wondering when that extra skin do you think the spermies are getting stuck on him and he pulls out a little bit too quick b4 they have a chance to get into me???  Please help all you can.. I have a retroverted utuerus (upside down).  The firsttime I got prego (had a m/c) it was totally missionary style- I was flat onmy back.  Second time (this time)- it was doggie style (excuse my wording...lol)- after wards I just laid flat on my back... did nothing special.

Thanks girly and CONGRATS!!!  I'm new to this and not big on the abbreviations... What is TTC and BFP ???  Sorry silly question.  Well I think part of my problem was sometimes I'm just so tired to have sex.  But thanks I'm going to try it.  If my method hadn't worked.  Wish me luck and good luck with your pregnancy!!

Also, one night after we bd- i put my legs up against the wall while lying on my back (so my legs were straight up) I don't know if this helped or not- or if this was even the day I conceived- but hey- whatever makes you feel better- right :)

I too have a tilted uterus- and am 10 weeks preggers :) I think the most important thing with getting pg (with no other fertility issues) is timming. Me and my bf had sex pretty much every day in the month of August. We started TTC'ng on August 5th- I got my BFP on Sept 4th :)
