Go ahead and call your doctor and let them know what's going on. It's a good idea to report all bleeding just to be safe.
Re your question, it depends. Have you had painful cramps, a fever, extremely sharp pain on one side, or a severe headache along with the bleeding? These are warning signs of a serious problem. If you experience any of that, get to the ER right away.
Brown blood is better than bright, fresh blood. Soaking one pad all day isn't automatically a huge bad sign; soaking a pad an hour is serious. In early pregnancy, it's freaky but relatively common to have a little spotting or bleeding. About one-third of women have this happen. Causes can include sex, low hormones or a cyst, among others.
Clots are bad, some bleeding can happen. Go to er if clots are present.
If I were you I would go to the er now. Have you had any clots?
ok so your soaking pads!?! that horrible you need to call your doctor especially since your so early on and i have PCOS and had a cyst on my ovary when i was pregnant and i had NO bleeding throughout the entire pregnancy just on the day i was going into labor.
Bleeding during pregnancy is not considered normal. I would suggest you call your dr today to let them know what is going on.
Yeah that is pretty bad..
