Also, try not to 100% believe what the U/S techs say. I am very tiny...(100 pounds pre-pregnancy) so the entire time I was concerned about delivering a big baby naturally. Well my tummy got big and I brought up that concern to every U/S tech and doctor I saw.
WELL 3 days before I delivered the U/S tech and MY OWN doctor told me the baby was about 7 pounds, give or take a few ounces. Now this was 3 days before I delivered and I had my son and he was 9 pounds 4 ounces! I've been told (my best friend is an U/S tech) that they can be off by a pound....going either way. But they were off by 2 in a half pounds...all the techs and my doctor. Even throughout my entire pregnancy they told me my baby was either small or average, boy were they WRONG! So you can't really go by what they say...its really just a guesstimate with all their measurements.
Congrats and good luck!
Wow to go from 10 to 12 oz to 3lbs is a lot. The ultrasound tech said starting this week the baby starts putting on fat. A 19 week baby has 0 body fat. So now my skinny baby will turn into a little chunky monkey.
They put on a few ounces here and there but the last weeks of pregnancy they'll pretty much put on 1/2 lb a week.
Oh wow, your baby is growing, at 18w 2d my baby weighed 9oz, not sure what she weighs now.
I dont even no the answer to your question, sorry.
I know at 30 weeks the average is 3lbs so fairly quickly.
