My baby girl is 4 weeks old today and we tried having sex last night and it still was uncomfortable and became slightly painful after 10mins and we had to stop.  I did not have stitches tho

Don't rush things momma. That won't do you any good if you're not healed. ..you could get an infection.  It's rough in the beginning with a new baby,  but you guys will over come it. Things will be back to normal soon.

You're just not fully healed and it's super easy to grt pregnant again.  If you're gonna go for it, double up on the protection lol.

You could rip your stitches and start bleeding profusely. Just wait. You'll be  thankful you did. The first intercourse after birth is pretty painful the way it is, ripping stitches would suck and you'd be at risk for infection if you're not fully healed.

I had sex at 5 weeks.  I also had an episiotomy.
5 weeks is when my stitches dissolved.
