Just got home and settled...worked all day then had to fight the crowds at Walmart...ugh! I had to get stuff for my classes party tomorrow! If we didn't have almost 2 ft of snow, I would have done it this weekend but we were snowed in Friday to Monday a.m.
I am excited because I have an ultrasound tomorrow to check on my placenta but I am excited to see my little boy!!! Fingers crossed my placenta is no longer low!

Sounds like some people are having a hard Monday! I'm so sorry and hope things turn around!!!
jenn- your FIL probably is worried about the economy! Don't let it worry you because a LOT can change in 9 months!!!

Well, I didn't sleep well, and was out of bed and ready to work at like 7:30, which is So not like me. I actually went in to the office for a bit today, to get somethings done before the Holiday. We told my in-laws last night about my BFP, and my MIL (who I don't always get along with) was excited, but FIL didn't say much. I'm not sure if it was shock (we've been together 2 and half years, it shouldn't be a shock), or just worry about the economy and just surviving. We tell my family tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed until Jan. 6th! We celebrated Christmas with my inlaws last night.

Well, I am officially in the 2WW. So, I am kind of excited but with Christmas right around the corner, I am hoping that will help keep my mind off of it. I think it will once I am at home on vacation, which starts Wednesday 12-24. I don't come back to work until 1-05. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mother-in-law is coming over today. We are Catholic and are doing what is called a Novena. It's a special prayer you do for 9 days. This is a Christmas Novena. So, that should be nice.
Oh, and finally finished up my Christmas shopping over the weekend. Yay again!!!!!!!!! Even got around to some wrapping. I never even start that until Christmas Eve, so I am ahead of the game this year.

Ok...today has been one heck of a day!!! First off, AF showed up with a veneance this morning. Then, my change oil light had come on over the weekend, but I didnt' have a chance to get it changed. I figured I should have a few days at least. Well, this morning my LOW oil light came on. I called DH, and he said to stop at a gas station to get a quart of oil just in case. As I pulled into the station, smoke starts to Billow out of my hood!!! Luckily, there were no weird noises, and I've got oil in it now, but I'm going to have DH look at it when he gets home.
THEN, at 2 til 9 (students come in the building at 9), our power goes out. So everyone's excited, thinking maybe we'll get to go home, especially since its 16 degrees outside. But no, we kept the kids all day long, with no power. It just came on about 15 minutes ago. Any guesses on how much learning actually occurred today??!

moody monday is right...uugghh!again my mom chose my SIL of me...i asked her to take me somewhere (dh is still using the car until his truck gets fixed) and she said she had things to do....and then she took my SIL with her...i ended up watching 7 kids 13 & under the youngest being 1...from 7:30am until 11am....the water man came out and checked water meters friday and left my meter lid off so i woke up with no water it was frozen.....and just got it running an hour ago....no coffee, no shower, couldn't do no laundry, no dishes.....i couldn't even fix dh a nice breakfast this morning before he went to work and it just made me feel so awful since i had planned on a good breakfast...we settled for cereal......i am in a mess today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got a Christmas box shipped to my sister on Friday and hoping it gets to her. Her husband decided he wasn't getting her anything so I had my MIL make her a purse with some Amy Butler fabric (I paid her for it, of course) and I made her some of my own handmade items and some treats (homemade marshmallows and fudge!).
Anyway, right now I've got candles burning. I'm doing laundry but about to do the dishes, make lunch, workout, shower, etc.
Pretty decent day.

UGH! I am tired...... I dont sleep well at night anymore! My hips and back hurt so bad..... and with me being SO tired from lack of sleep its hard for me to work a full 8 hour day and still be nice LOL..... Patiently waiting for March 13th! Any suggestions ladies, on what to do for the sore hips??? I have a billion pillows and they help for a bit.....but my they still hurt!
I am DONE with all my shopping YAYYY!! and have my 3D ultrasound in about 2 weeks, we cant wait to see how big Noah has gotten.... we havent seen him since 19 weeks

Well i have 2 days until my due date i have an induction date at 12 am on the 29th if i dont go before then. Been having contractions on and off and still am dilated to a 2 and 75% effaced. Really dont want to be in the hospital on Christmas day. Still have to get one more christmas present for my son tonight then im all done with shopping.
well.... let's see now. On Saturday morning I have 4 ft 10 in of snow. It finally stopped for a few hours, and I had to go get some snow shoes and boots, because all I really have at the moment was flip flops! (I know perfect for the snow) LOL So I loaded the kids in the truck and went off my merry way 4wheeling around to get to stores. Watching idiots driving (worst pet peeve ever) I ended up at 8 diff stores. I apparently have huge honking feet, size 11 in womens, and NO ONE WANTED TO CARRY MY SHOES! I finally found some, went grocery shopping and god everywhere was packed because everyone was doing last minute christmas shopping because there was no way half the people would have made it out yesterday!
So Sunday we wake up....anoter 1 1/2 feet of snow. Still snowing, still snowing to this minute. I can no longer shovel the snow, it was killing me, so my dad is coming over today, to spend the week here and help me out since my husband has a fractured elbow and can't do it. I have an appt today, who knows if i'll make it. And one tomorrow. I called them and asked if we could do both tomorrow, and they said if I could get into the hospital today it'd be better. Today is my weekly u/s, monitor, getting checked, and 6 diff shots that only the hospital can monitor and give to me. Eeeek!So my dad is shoveling snow right now. Hr brought his tractor over to help plow my driveway a bit.
Anyways. Still snowing... 5 more days of snow before is SUPPOSEDLY turns to rain.....ahaha I kind of doubt it will though. I didn't really do much this weekend besides saturday. And I am surely happy I got it all done!

Well, I had quite the interesting weekend! So the baby daddy now is denying this baby and is demanding a paternity test. Which is fine, as long as he pays for it. There is no question that its his anyways. But also, my best friend whom I adore and love to death, proposed to me!! I know this sounds like a soap opera but this is someone who I could definately spend the rest of my life with. We've always been attached at the hip, and might as well have dated, but I didn't think he felt the same, and especially after I got pregnant, but I guess things are lookin up! :) Oh and also, I popped out a bit I've noticed. I now don't look like the awkward fat person....you know the ones where you are not sure if they are pregnant or just fat, lol. Now, I actually look pregnant, lol! Whoo hoo!
Mumita- I'm sorry about all that. My work won't pay for a cent of maternity leave, so I kinda know what you are going though, but for now, I'm on cloud 9 and don't even want to think of all that, lol! I just wish we could all win the lottery!!!

I know its early i'm 9 weeks but, I've been thinking about what I'm going to do about $$ when I have to go on maternity leave. My husband works of course but my paycheck is needed to help pay the bills....
So, I get 6 weeks of Short Term dissability pay at 60% of my salary, 12 weeks unpaid time off. And then well I have to pay for my health insurance while I'm out, delivery is $500....ugh...this sounds expensive. All of this sounds very expensive :(
