How to soften cervix

Just got back from the hospital and I am having contractions but far apart and not too severe my doctor wants me to try to induce myself at home before she induces me because she said its better if I do it than her because it can end up in a c section .

Can someone give me ideas on what to do to induce myself and soften my cervix ?

Sex helped my contractions. Once I did that it sent me into active labor within an hour. Went to back to the hospital the next morning and got admitted and had her that evening. I got sent home the first time because my contractions weren't strong enough.

Aw congrats I hope you have a easy labor . I bought the pills so today I'm going to start using them and I bought red raspberry herd tea it doesn't say leaves on it thought but I guess it might work the same way

Before I used it I was completly closed. Now im 50% effaced and 2cm dilated. It softens ur cervix and makes labor easier. And ive been doing nipple stimulation all afternoon and have been having contractions (which make u dilate fyi )

I take 2 in the morning and 2 vag at night. (Make sure u where a pad to bed)

U can take or orally.  Its a pill.  Or u can cut a little slit n the gely pill, and before bed or before laying down to nap put it up into ur vagina.

Okay thanks but what do you do with the primrose oil ?

The only said to be proven method is sex because  of the progladins. Alot of women use primrose oil to soften there cervix. I would walk as much as you can and have sex any chance you get. squats can help bring baby down as well, and using stairs.
