How would you pronounce this name

I want to name our Daughter Maya (this spelling) does it sound like May-ah or My-ah we want it to be pronounced as My-ah.

Thanks Mommy's!! That's why I asked I want it to be My-ah but I can see people mispronouncing it. I just like the spelling Maya because I was born in May and thought it would be different.

when I looked at it I heard my-ah in my head.....but after looking again I can see people mispronouncing it.......I think MYA is a direct spelling so no one willmispronounce her name
