I'm sad, thought I passed my 1 hr glucose test

I was so happy, I saw my lab results online and it was just the result of the first part of the screening. My 2nd result number after the glucola was 157, so this means I did not pass the test.
I need to call the Dr on monday and tell him.  Has this happened to any of you?  What were your numbers?  Did you have to take another test?

Im sooo sad :(

Bad thing about it is that I went first thing in the morning with an empty stomach.  I was sooo hungry!  And now, to do it for three hours, Grrrr!

I didn't pass my 1hr either.
It was supposed to be 140 or less... and mine was 155.
So I hadda go back for my 3hr, and I did pass that one.

It's not uncommon for women to fail the 1hr.
They give you a list of things not to eat, but they leave sh*t out, and you end up eating something they forgot to tell you not to eat, and then you end up failing it.
That's what happend to me.
They told me not to eat something like a cereal or something because of the starch... so I ended up eating corn on the cob, cuz I didn't know it was a starch.
And that's how I failed mine. lol

The 3hr is more precise.
It's the most boring thing you'll ever do in your life.
And then the anxiety over the forever much wait till you get to know your results...
But you'll feel better afterwards.

I am sorry but I am not sure. I too just recently took my glucola test, but I haven't heard the results.  The hospital said they would call if it was irregular, and I did not hear anything.  I had to go back to my doctor this wednesday, so I made no effort to call.

However, carpediemforlife failed her 1 hour glucose screening and they made her do a 3 hour glucose test, which she passed.  So maybe that is what they will do for you.  I am not sure if it is protocol or not.  Good luck!
