I keep telling myself "12weeks, it'll be better then" but seriously, it seems like the battle is not passing out and dying trying to get there! Lol, I tried to stomach a little cherrios (I'm out of crackers!) And I'm awaiting my tummy's reaction. :)
I mostly live off crackers and toast for the first couple of months. Keep poping those prenatal vitamins. Some say apple sauce help. And ginger ale of course. Just hang in there for a little while longer, it will get better. I start craving fruit like apple and oranges by 12 weeks. Then spicy seafood. Now at 25 weeks it's chocolate cake and milk. Can't control it, just go with the flow.
I really don't want to lose my taste for certain foods! Lmao, call me weird, but I like liking certain foods! I'll ask my doctor when I go, since I haven't been yet due to insurance issues. Thanks for the advice!
I had the same problem and i could only it biskits. but i went to my doctor cause i couldnt j
handle not eating properly and he put me on pramin tiny little tablets and in three daus of taking them i could eay meat and take away and stuff again but i used to love french cheesecake now i eat it and it tastes like crap. but yeah pramin is so good and super cheap
Thanks for your responses!
I was actually about to go try some ramen, which I didn't even know I owned! And I'll pick up some pretzles! I love them, I hope I can eat them!
Poor thing...its normal to all the sudden hate the food you loved and love the food you hated while preggo...its totslly bizzare!! i ate a lot of pretzels and crackers...the simple carbs seemed to really help in the beginning...its just trial and error at this stage...good luck and congrats :)
Try bread, and fruit, and soup. Crackers and ginger ale are good for helping to settle your stomach, and then eat really light stuff, anything that will stay down. The main thing is not to lose your energy and to stay hydrated, in the first trimester the baby will pull all he needs from your body, his nutritional needs from outside foods are minimal. Just take your prenatals, hang in there, and eat whatever you can. There was awhile there where the only thing that I could keep down was french bread and ginger ale. My baby is healthy, actually a little big, so at this point it's about keeping you going.
