I JUST LEFT THE INTAKE OF TRAMADOL, IM 8 MONTHS PREGNANT, NEED SOME ADVICES PLEASE

Hi everyone this is my first post in this wonderful website, hope you can share some experiences and advices that I'm sure will be really helpful for me.

I just ended taking tramadol, a very low dose daily (20mg), starting my pregnancy I was taking 50mg, now when there's 4 week left and I stop taking it, my biggest doubt and fear is to know if I'm doing well and if this measure won't hurt my baby once this is out in some of the chances...

I will really appreciate any advice about.

Thank you very much.

Thank you all for your advices, I'm now a little less worried, and wanted to share experiences. Anyway, some more of your experiences will be well received.

Blessings.

Your baby should be alright. I was on something much stronger, oxycodone for back pain and under the care of both pain mgmt and hih risk ob.I lowered and wound up stopping my med almost 2 days b4 I had him. He had no withdrawals and no health problems from it.

Does your doctor know you have been taking this medication?  If so, they will be monitoring you closely (more detailed, and frequent ultrasounds for example) and be on the look out for any problems.  That said, tramadol is  Class C medication and can be taken during pregnancy if the benefits outweigh the risks.

Years ago I had a car accident which caused me a back pain, so my doctor gave me tramadol for it, then I found that I was an addictive narcotic and I started to get off it.

Blessings.
