Missed abortion miss diagnosed

I was told two weeks ago that I was pregnant and it was a missed abortion. This Sat I returned to the ER still unable to eat or drink and they did another ultrasound I am now told that I am 10 weeks and 5 days pregnant with a fetal pole, where at 8 weeks they were able to see a sac but no fetal pole. I am going out of my mind worrying about getting excited about a healthy pregnancy. My hemoglobin levels are high and they called they the nausea and vomiting hyperemesis gravidium hoping that it goes away by 14 weeks but could last my whole pregnancy. At this time if I have to be readmitted back to the hospital they will do a port or at home IV treatments.  I am just sooo worried about losing this baby and it breaking my heart. I have no real good memory of this past month I have selected things that I can remember but not a whole lot, this bothers me because I remember everything. Today I have had a little spotting but I have heard that this is normal during pregnancy, PLEASE if anyone has any advice just send it my way. I am in desperate need.

Kat~ It sounds like you have a healthy baby in there. Hyperemesis is a tough thing to handle, I had it for 25w with my first son and probably should've been getting regular IV fluids, but I only got them 1x when I couldn't eat or drink anything for 24 hrs straight.

Even with HG you can still have a healthy baby and pregnancy. Since you have both a fetal pole and heartbeat  the chances for miscarriage go WAY down now. And obviously they were wrong about a "missed miscarriage".

Joy is right, a cyst is normal during the first few months of pregnancy and it'll go away, it's nothing to worry about as long as it isn't a huge cyst....

Congrats!

I have polycystic ovaries and a swollen left ovary. I'm over 37 weeks pregnant and everything is fine. If your doctor is concerned then they'll take very good care of you, but it doesn't sound like a concern.

My biggest concern with the cyst is I do have a past history of them and about 8 months ago I had a cyst on the same ovary. I have had a hard time with them. THey never looked at my first u/s. I am looking into another doc out of town just to get a second oppinion. I have a question also but wanted to give an update. I have had upper abdominal pain for 2 days, it is very sharp but only last a few mins, what could this be?
Thank you all for the help.

Google luteal cyst. Every woman gets one when she ovulates. It does go away.

Ok so I called the doc office back today, they failed to tell me I have a cyst on my right ovary, and I am not very sure what it means but they told me that there was a single forming fetus and the heart rate was 155. Does all of this sound good plz I don't know what questions to ask, so I will take any advice?

im confused, if they are saying you are 10 weeks preg what are they going by/ do they see the baby, because i thought a fetal pole is only something you see in the first few weeks, not 10 weeks, either way good luck see about getting a diff oppinion or dr who can explain more to you. Don't stress it will not do you any good, so try to remain calm, whats meant to be, will be. And i hope you the best! Let me know how you make out!

I'm sorry but at 10 weeks you should definitely see a baby with a heartbeat, not a fetal pole. A fetal pole is usually seen around 4-5 weeks, sometimes even 6 weeks.

You need to communicate with your doctor and find out what is really going on. Good luck!

No, every ultrasound has been kinda hiden away. I have had 2 ultrs sounds in the past 2 weeks the first said I was about 8 weeks with no fetal pole and the second showed me 10 weeks and 2 days with a heart beat. Although I knew on the first one that I heard no heart and on the second it was quiet. I just don't know, I am worried sick because I don't know what to think. Thank you for your help.

could it be possible and the dates are wrong?  could you perhaps not be as far along as you thought?

Have you seen the baby or heard the heartbeat? At 10+ weeks you should be able to see baby and hear a heartbeat.

unfortunately I went through all of this...  check out my posts. I listed my symptoms and how I felt under "Bleeding & Pregnant"  I was 13 weeks yesterday and I'm currently miscarring.  my body hurts terribly.
I don't mean to scare you.  Maybe everything will work out for you.
have you heard a heartbeat??

I'm so sorry you are going through this.
