I am wondering if i am pregnant

I have been on triquilar 21 for almost 7 years and I am 33 years old.  My last period was in July, as I was getting married in August and took the pill straight thru (2 months).  I went off the pill Sept 10th, expecting to get my period.  It is not Oct 3rd and no period.  I have cramping and all the syptoms of my period but no period.  I have taken 8 pregnancy tests over the last 2 weeks, (including one at the doctor) all negative.  My doctors says to wait two months before coming back and I am not preganant.  But if I am not preganant what else could it be?  Should I just start taking the pill again and see what happens??

Thank you.  No, I have a son and we are happy with him, I am just waiting to get back to normal.  I am afraid to do anything with my husband when I am not on the pill.  It' s just weird bacuase I have always been regular and just wanted to rule out pregancy.

When you've been on any method of birth control for that length of time it can take a few months to get your normal period. Do as your doctor days and wait 2 months.

If you are wanting to get pregnant don't take your pill, just stay off of it. IF your period is having a tough time getting started back up, the dr will give you something like "provera" which will "jumpstart" your period.

Just wait it out, even though most birth control methods like the pill say it takes a month to get fertile again, when you've been on a method for 7 yrs it can take a little while.
