I spotted for about a week and a half at about 8 weeks along.
It was a very light pink-peach-tan color... then the following week I had a discharge coming out for a few days, then it stopped.
I never experience implantation bleeding.
And that spotting at 8 weeks was the only time I "Bled" so far.
I have been told you CAN bleed during a pregnancy though.
My mother never did, but my fiancee's mother told me that she did with all 3 of her boys the first trimester and a half of the pregnancies.
Ontop of that, my fiancee's brother's Wife, said that she spotted a lil heavier off and on throughout her first trimester aswell.
It just depends on how your body works I guess.
the doc says the spotting is just because of increased blood flow in the cervix... but not like a peirod.
If you're experiencing clotting, you might have a problem because that either states that you're A: Not pregnant, or B: could be misscarrying.
So just keep track of your cycles, like on a calendar er something.
Mark when you started and what time, and mark when you ended and what time.
If it's regular, then you're just having a normal period.
Note:
Women only have a 20% chance of getting pregnant each month.
you can spot around the time of your expected period when your pegnant but your not supposed to get a period. that would a lot of blood compared to a little little bit.
It may not have been a period she experienced, esp if she was pregnant. Itcould have been implantation bleeding in the first month, or she could have had sloughing and or bleeding at the implantation site in subsequent months. Sometimes we don't keep track of our cycles as well as we think we do and she could ave gone a month and not even noticed. Ihave heard testimonies of those that may have bleed throughout their pregnancies, but I am banking that they were not truly periods it was spotting and could have been due to what I stated above. Hope this helps.
