I had a miscarriage 2 months ago. Is it ok for me to be pregnant again?

I had a miscarriage june 6th and i am 5 weeks pregnant now. i'm not sure if my baby will be ok or if my body can handle another baby so soon... can someone help me please?

Many women fall pregnant immediately after a miscarriage. Unless there was an underlying cause for you miscarriage like a clotting disorder or something, chances are really good that this pregnancy will go just fine.

I fell pregnant very quickly and unexpected before I even got my period after my mc at the start if the year I am now over 36 weeks pregnant and waiting for my baby to arrive. I have had acomplication free pregnancy.
Your body can handle the pregnancy, if ur uterus was not ready the egg couldn't attach after a mc it is more about your emotional readiness, for me my mc was my 3rd pregnancy and I had carried 2 children with no complications but I still worried through my first trimester and until I could feel baby move.

After my miscarriage my OB told me to wait three months so I started reading medical journals and researching why since they couldn't give me a good answer and I found out that there is no medical reason for it. If you had a D&C it's to make sure that the lining in your uterus has a chance to build up again since they scrape it so thin. But otherwise it's just something drs say (mainly for time for psychological healing). Your baby should be fine, your body should be fine. Not to worry (though having this be my first pregnancy since my miscarriage I know not worrying is easier said than done). Congratulations and best of luck in a happy and healthy nine months! :)

Most Dr's like for you to have two cycles before becoming pregnant again and I think that is mainly for dating. So they know when the pregnancy occurred and how far along you are.

There are many women here on the board that have gotten pregnant right away after a miscarriage.
