sorry for your lose. well i had my miscarriage March of 2010 and i did have to get a D&C and then after my D&C im gonna say about 3 weeks later me and my husband started having sex again. i did ask my obgyn when i could start having sex and he said whenever i feel ready and as long as it dont hurt him or me...

you wont be more fertile then you were before...and now im pregnant and i got pregnant in october or november...just take your time getting pregnant because once you have a miscarriage everything all yoru muscles and everything are not as strong as they used to be and getting pregnant right away can result in another miscarriage..so just give your self time to heal

goodluck

Totally agree with Joy, Lots of women "claim" to be "more" fertile after a miscarriage but there isnt any evidence to support this....
When i had a miscarriage in Nov the gynae told me to wait until i stopped bleeding which was around 9weeks to prevent infection and also you have to be emotionally repaired and ready.

I wish you the best of luck.

While I've never seen any scientific data to back up the claim - many women believe they are more fertile after a miscarriage. You can have sex about 4 weeks after your miscarriage (to prevent infection) and so long as the bleeding has stopped.
