If you use acetone,, make sure you put vasaline on your exposed skin around the nail to prevent damage... I just did this today,, took about 20 minutes for the nails to desolve && its a pretty messy process but my natural nails are still intack except for one.!!

Acrylic? You need to soak them in pure acetone.

Pure acetone you can get it at wal mart or anystore that sells polish remover you have to soak your nails in it until the fake nails dissolve or soak some cotton balls in the acetone then put the cotton balls on your nails and wrap a little piece of aluminum foil around your finger tip not sure how long to leave it on for but the acetone is very strong smelling and drys your skin out so be careful
