I know I should know this but my brain is not working!!!
Ok all! My question is (and I know this is on here all the time but it makes me nervous) Can I get pregnant while on my peroid and is it more likely to happen when I just had my son 11.4 weeks ago? Heres my situation. I had my son on June 20th and I bled for approx 5 weeks after the birth. My doctor put me on birthcontrol at 7 weeks and told me to go ahead and start taking them. I began having break through bleeding about 2.5 weeks into the pills and had not had intercourse until a few days before it ended and DH and I did not use protection. He did pull out but I cant get this thought out of my head. I was on the placebo pills when this happend!! I feel really stupid for asking this since I should know but Iam nervous something may be wrong! I am eating more and thats about it and I keep craving things! HELP!!!
Thanks all decided I am going to get a few dollar store tests and see what I get later and in a week if neg just to be safe. This morning I have been a little neasueas and have a pulling sensation in my abdomen just like my previous pregnancy! Thanks pinkbelle and Joy and if anyone has anything to add that would ge greatly appriciated!
I think that most often women have longer cycles between periods after giving birth. Are you breastfeeding exclusively? Because BFing will release chemicals into your body telling you to not ovulate. But you have to be BFing very regularly.
I see you found a BC pill that'll work for you! It is possible to become pregnant during your period... if you ovulate EARLY in your cycle. You'd have to have really short cycles in order for this to happen.
Hes doing good swinging away! Hes getting big he weighs12lbs 6 oz and is a chunker....I only wish he would seep throught he night!
hey hun.. i think you are okay.. the birth control pills should have taken effect by 2 1/2 weeks.. and the break through bleeding is normail with bc pills. You know I know exactly how you feel... I had the same nerves as you a couple days ago and i just had to take a pregnancy test to ease my mind so at least now I know... so go get yourself a cheapy test and take it so that it will ease your mind.. i would wait a couple days to take the test seeing how you just had sex 2 weeks ago ( although if you are prego it could show up this soon)
I know the thought of being pregnant so soon after having your baby boy is scary but remember things happen for a reason and if its meant to be it will ( trust me I know!!!) And just think the love you have for your little boy will be the love you have for the new baby ( if it turns out you are prego) .. but in all honesty I don't think you have anything to worry about!!! Keep me updated girl!!! Oh and how is your little man doing?
