I need help!!

I will be 39w tomorrow and one more week to ago.. but my question is that can my water break any day without me dilating??

It's definitely more common for you to be dilating first, but it can happen, of course, some women's don't break at all, even in active labor, some have to be broken (mine did) I was at 6cms and mine still hadn't broke, and I was having some intense contractions, my OB broke it for me!

i should of mentioned its not very common tho! sorry lol most women dilate or have to get their water broken but theres always the possibility that your water can break before you dilate

yes...my moms water broke 17 days early and she wasnt dilated at all until her water broke.. it broke at 3 am and she was fully dilated by 945
