Anybody else having pains in their ribs? My best friend and mom say that it's normal that it's the baby just taking up more room but I just want to be sure it's normal..I'm going to talk to my doctor my next appt but mean while I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing pain in their ribs. It'll hurt if I laugh to hard or move a certain way. It's only on my right side.

I had it bad when I was 22 wks. I could barley walk properly &I could not stand for too long. It hurt so bad that sleeping became uncomfortable. I spoke to my doctor about it and she said I needed to drink more water (64 fl oz = 8 8 oz glasses each day) &I used a heating pad (does not harm baby,  I made sure to ask first). I kept doing that &about 1 wk later the pain started to fade &I was back to my normal self. I am now 33w +3d. FTM &having a boy. Good luck! :)

I also get some numbness in my right rib. Not necessarily pain. But it's been going on for months now. I'm 31 weeks now

Did the pain just go away by itself? Glad it's not just me!
