no more leaking.. we're on our way to the hospital.. i got really scared.. he's still moving though.. and still no contractions.. my husband blames himself for having sex with me.. :(
Contractions don't always start after your water breaks or leaks. Its definitely something you need to go get checked out though because if it is your water you need to deliver within 24 hours to avoid infection. And its very common for woman to mistake other things for their water. But since it is odorless and colorless that definitely sounds like amniotic fluid. Is it still leaking
Every labor is different for different ladies. My water broke and i wasn't having contractions with both of my pregnancies..
But you should get checked out
they can swab you and see if it's amniotic fluid
When my water broke I waited 6 hours before going to the hospital, I had a small leak so I was making sure. But I had no contractions at all.
When my water broke with my first I didn't have any contractions until they started pitocen at the hospital. I would definitely get checked because of infection! They swab down there and send it to the lab and see if it's your water.
Hmmm no color or unusual texture? Is it possibly female ejaculate ? I'm sorry to be so graphic but if ur not cramping now or don't start cramping in a few hours maybe that's all it is?? I personally would still go in to my ob to confirm one way or the other especially being past 37 weeks it could be nothing but better safe than sorry.
Some people are different for me my water broke and I didn't go to the dr bc I thought it was pee but it was 5 days later when I started having contractions and I lost my baby bc it had set up an infection in the amniotic fluid i didn't not know that they had to take the baby within 24 hrs after your water breaks so you should definitely go in just so they can check and make sure better to be safe than lose your baby like I did goodluck I hope the best for you and your lil one..
I would get it checked out. The worse that they could say is no it hasn't broke yet.
thats what i thought but i dont feel anything now.. im wondering what could that liquid be if it wasnt my water..any idea?
You would normally feel contractions shortly after your water breaks.... But maybe you should get it checked out.
