7 days till my due date and i feel like im going to go over it:/ i was curious does contractions make you loose your mucus plug? Because i think i have been losing mine for 4 days now. And ive had pelvic pain but i dont think im having contractions at all or braxton hicks. Is there anything that will help get things going :/

It can come out with or with our contractions.

I know that it can grow back but what i was trying to ask is does contractions make you lose it? Or is it something that just comes out without contractions?

Your mucus plug can go at any time. You can also regenerate it. Losing it is often seen as a sign of impending labor, but really isn't.
Nothing good will really get things going if your body isn't already ready for it. For now, I just suggest relaxing and taking care of your self.
