I went to the dr today... now I'm SOOO confused! HELP

I went to the dr this morning and the did a pee pregnancy test and it was negative.  ( they use the strips.)  I had 6 positive test at home!  1 walgreens digital, 2 clear clue digitals, and 3 dollar tree test.  They took blood and I will not get that back until Monday.  I read online that the strips are not that great.  Is that true?  Has any one had this happen.  My period is 1 day late.  So could it be to soon for the strips to tell?  Please Reply.  Anita

i'm so sorry to hear about dh.  Men are stupid.  I have not had many symptoms at all.  I have had a few nauseous spells.  I never threw up.  I have been getting heart burn a little.  ( i lived off TUMS whit Elijah lol.)  My boobs feel fuller.  And my left leg is a little swollen.  I had swelling my whole pregnancy before.  And it started early then too.  And I have been feel a "full feeling" off and on in my stomach.  By thats about it.

i took a preg test on the 28th and got a +! Im having sore boobs and major cramping( well that has eased off a lil now) and alot of morning sickness like i couldnt believe!! haha i am actually throwing up with this pregnancy and i never with my other two pregnancies!! wow...and the df and i are broke up after i found out!! It seems as though he dont want to be with me anymore! Way to tell me after he got me preggers heyy!! How are you doing symptom wise and everything!??

the first day of my last period was sep. 1st.  LOL.  What symtoms are you having?

yea my due date is the tenth too!! lol how funnny..that might change though when i get my ultrasound done!! WHen was your last period!?? mine waS  the 2 of sept!!

wow, thats awesome that I'm not alone lol.  This is going to be the longest week end ever!  I was told that they will contact me Monday.  Sigh..... I wish i could had got the blood test earlier in the week but i had to work.  Still no sign of AF!  

I looked online and it said that my due date would be june 10th.

Happened to me this pregnancy. My blood test came back at 277, if I remember correctly. But the urine test, the same day, was negative.

that happened to me too!!! :) the docs test are sooo weird! They did ttwo pee test and they said neg while i had four preg test at home that said positive!! Your blood test will say positive dont worry..congrats hun were due the same time!! :):)

Something similiar happened to me when I was pregnant.  I went to the hospital because I was spotting and they took my urine for a test.  They came back and told me it was negative(they had taken blood, we were waiting for it).  I told them how I couldnt believe that because I had so many + tests at home.  a while passed  and the blood wasnt back so I asked the nurse if he would repeat the urine test, but it front of me.  He did, the test he used came up with a second line, but it was much lighter then the control line, and he told me that this was a negative result.  I didnt argue with him.......my bloodwork came back and my hcg was over 500....

I have heard that the tests used in the doctors office are less sensitive then the HPTs. I wouldn't worry, I'm sure your blood test will come back positive.

this happened to me when i went to the doctors when i was pregnant dont worry blood results will say positive the doctors pg tests are rubbish i think he come back negative with everyone lol but i think you dont need to worry

it is possible that they'r strips just didnt catch it because the HCG wouldnt be that high if your only a day late. hpeflly the bood test wil be conclusive for you. if not and you still dont get your period for a couple weeks ask for another test.
