Does anyone on here have IBS, Crohns, or UC and Pregnant? Trying to find someone that might be able to relate to my situation.

Lol it's ok. =) Well my normal pain starts out in weird sharp pains in my lower tummy, then immediately get sick to my stomach. Most of the time I throw up because it hurts so bad. (No one believes me when I say that, but it's honest to God truth.) Then after I throw up, I am in such horrible pain that I can't even scream. It comes on so fast and doesn't let up for 20+ minutes. Sometimes I pass out because I can't even breathe. It hurts off and on for 20+ minutes at a time with a few seconds inbetween. It goes on for at least 4 hours or more. Finally, after hours of the most horrible pain ever, I end up having ALOT of lose bowel (sorry, gross lol). As soon as that is over I can finally wobble my way back to bed and just pass out. It never completely stops hurting. Even right now I can feel it.

My labor pains were TOTALLY different! It was so freaking easy compared to the other pain. I had a super light back ache that never went away, and every 15 minutes (like clock work) I would feel this strange tightness literally move from my back, to my hips, then slowly wrap itself around my tummy, then it would get super tight and start feeling like a light period, or like my period was about to start. So I felt that for a couple days, knew it was different immediately because it was very consistent and not my normal pain. Then all the sudden I went pee and when I wiped I saw my mucous plug (alot of thick mucous colored, sometimes bloody, discharge). It had been slowly coming out for days, but this was a huge glob of it. A few minutes after that, that light back ache got a little worse, and the tightening started happening every 8-10 minutes, and a little more period cramps. It started lasting about 30 seconds to one minute each time I got one, and then it would just completely disappear!! Like completely gone! That's when I knew for sure lol. I've never been pain free in my whole life, so that was like my sign from God lol. I hope this helps a little! I don't mind answering questions! That's why I'm here =)

So, how would you discribe your normal pains vs. labor pains? I'm sorry I know I'm asking a lot of questions.

Haha, creeepyy lol jk jk!! Oh, it was a pretty big difference. I'm used to the "normal"pains. So when it felt like different pains I just knew.  It made labor pains seem like nothing though, so that's a plus. =)

I'm sorry to hear that, I know it *****! Buy my question is, how do you know the pain is not labor? You're one of the moms I follow on here (so not trying to be creepy btw) but I noticed you have another child already as well. Have you ever had a problem figuring out if it was your normal pain or labor? Or was the pain obviously different?

Unfortunately yes. I always thought I was having a miscarriage in the first few months because the pain was so bad. And now I'm 28+ weeks and I feel like I'm going into labor. It doesn't happen every single day anymore, thank goodness. But I haven't found any relief. It hasn't caused any problems with the baby though. Just alot of pain/unpleasantness for me.

I have endometriosis (which kind of mimics some symptoms of ibs). And I'm 28 weeks 1 day pregnant. =)
