IUD, 14.5 hCG level, miscarriage. trying to get pregnant again

I've had the paragard IUD in for about 3 yrs. I didn't start having heavy bleeding, irregular periods, bad cramping. I had my last pap smear in late June, they checked my IUD said it was in place still. Between June-July i was feeling sick and just unusual so i did a lot of testing at the Dr. and all my results came back normal. July 30th i went in to have my IUD switched to Mirena, they did a precautionary pregnancy test and it came back with a slight postive. So i was told i needed to remove the IUD and they sent me to get an ultrasound and a blood test. My ultrasound returned no results. My blood test on July 31st came back with a 14.5 hCG level (barely a week along) they waited over the weekend and the next monday i had my second blood test done and it came back with a 7.2 hCG level. All along i was bleeding ( i figured i was just on my period, after all i did have an IUD in) i continued bleeding until Aug. 5th. (today is the 7th) I thought my period was over because i didn't bleed at all on the 5th.but i did have spotting the 6th & 7th. Heres my question(s)

1-When did i become pregnant?
2- When did i have my miscarriage?
3- After being in the mindset that i was pregnant, I want to try for another one, how soon can i get pregnant?
4- am i spotting because my periods still aren't normal?

any other information would be helpful. With all this mess going on lately, i'm not even sure how to calculate my cycles or chart things down because now i dont know if my bleeding is a period or not or what my system is doing.

help please

Doctors usually want you to wait 1-3 cycles before trying to have a baby after a miscarriage. I'm pregnant after one period following a miscarriage. I'm 29 weeks along.

And it could be that you were pregnant. Cysts also give off HCG. So there's no way to know when you conceived, when you miscarried or if it was truly a miscarriage.

hi there.  i had the same thing happen not too long ago.  i wasn't feeling so hot and my doctor did a pregnancy test just to rule it out.  it came back at an 8.  i was told that anything under a 20 is a negative and that some women just have times where their hCG will pop up there...i was told it fluctuates in some women even when they aren't pregnant.   since no one can really tell me if i was pregnant or not i just choose to believe i wasn't.. lol  I am sorry this is happening to you too because i know how frustrating it is.  If it was indeed a miscarriage, I have always been told that you can start trying again just as soon as you feel up to it, mentally and emotionally.
