preeclampsia question

I'm 36+6. I went to the Dr and he was unhappy with my blood pressure and trace protein in my urine so he is making me do a 24hour urine test. Anyone have preeclampsia? How does it change your pregnancy?  I'm really hoping I don't have it.

I was put on the 24 hr watch and I didn't have it. It was kinda gross having to keep the pee jug in the fridge though lol. I have high protein in this pregnancy too so hopefully as long as my blood pressure stays normal again ill be good. Just relax and try not to think about it, though waiting for the results is nerve recking.

Inductions are really risky and hard on you and your baby.  You don't always have to be induced you can control it with meds and bed rest.

Thanks. I kind of want to be induced anyways. I have family that wants to travel here for the birth. And I could give them an exact date.

If you are already having protein in your urine he will.probably induce. My doctors induced me with both of pregnancies because of protein in the urine. Good Luck!!!

I had it with my first pregnancy, the only thing is low salt and maybe no salt and also bed rest so that blood pressure doesn't go up. Try to keep it under control and just relax as much as possible.
