I'm getting frustrated...help!

Ok so I'm 39 weeks and 2 days. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I had my dr appt yesterday and she said she didn't want to strip the membranes because the baby's head is already very low, and I'm 3 cm dilated. She told me go home and walk, and if I get any contractions to go to the hospital and they will keep me. So I'm frustrated because I've been walking since I got home last night. I went to sleep woke up and walked some more on my treadmill. I'm so irritated cuz I can't get any contractions. I know of all the things people say to try. I even had sex last night, didn't work. Castor oil isn't an option for me. And pineapple didn't work, nipple stimulation didn't work. Idk what else to do. I don't wanna be in the hospital for thanksgiving!! And idk what else to do. Ugh.

Every time I start to get tummy craps I'm praying they develop into contractions and labour.. but nothing yet! :(

Hmmm...nope I haven't tried any of those! Thank u I will definitely give those a try. And good luck. Just think...ur like literally hours away from ur baby lol cuz ur already so far along.

I know exactly what I'm facing, I have 3 other children as well. But I'm getting more sleepless nights being pregnant than I would actually having the baby. I miss sleeping on my stomach and my back. I also have something wrong that docs can't figure out but I have extremely sensitive skin when pregnant and I get bumps all over my body and they itch like crazy and that keeps me up all night. The heartburn from this pregnancy keeps me up too. And I already have a child that gets me up in the middle of the night cuz he's 3. I know what I'm facing with a newborn, and I know what I was expecting when I got pregnant, but my due date is only 5 days away and it's time to give him the boot! Lol! I love him and would never do anything that would hurt him or make him come when he isn't ready. From everything i read and heard nothing will help unless baby is ready, so I'm choosing not to do anything extreme. Lol I just can't wait. What can I say? I'm impatient! Lol thank u ladies for all ur input and advice I truly appreciate it

By the time I had my third baby,  I knew what I was facing as far as sleepless nights and exhaustion.  I was in no huge hurry to deliver the baby early!

The last 12 hours or so before your baby comes naturally,  he ***** up lots of nutrients.  If you force your baby out before labor would naturally begin your baby loses out on that.  

Enjoy this time,  and wait for your baby to be ready.

I've tried dancing and all that did was humiliate me lol, and the stairs I haven't tried cuz I would rather stay close to home and there aren't any nearby stairs...so I'm stuck with my treadmill which so far has only wore me out lol, it's not working!! I just know he's holding on for dear life in there! It's cuz I eat too good, that's why he doesn't wanna come lol

Have you tried dancing it can be fun and it might help contractions to start

Lol tell me about it! Some people say when u start to get a contraction that u should get up and walk but sometimes I'm afraid to move incase they go away. Which they do anyways. Lol so frustrating!

Have you tried bouncing on a exercise ball, going for a swim or drinking raspberry leaf tea. A few more things that can't hurt to give a go!
I feel your frustration, I am 40w2d I really didn't expect to go overdue.. at my appt on Wednesday midwife did a sweep and said I was cervix was posterior at 1cm dialated, ive had no sign of contractions. But last night I started loosing my mucus plug so I really hope something happens soon!
