They should do some research ^^
Doctors prescribe Zofran (ondansetron) to pregnant women as a treatment for nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Unfortunately, studies link the medication to birth defects, and families are taking drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline to court, saying it marketed the drug to pregnant women without FDA approval.
Check out these, they completely helped me and my doctor was so impressed he recommends them to other mothers.

I guess people really don't do their research on prescribed drugs haha
Vendors have the right to goto private doctors and companies and give them a profit to help promote their product. Same goes for psychologists and mental hospitals. You might think your doctor has your best interest but there are a lot of crooks in the medical field believe it or not. If over the counter drugs are horrible to take like Tylenol, Advil then why are prescribed drugs okay. Ones that have major side effects. Obviously everyone has the right to do as they please while pregnant. But just remember we live in a country that runs on money and only money. If women in the 1800s and women in other countries could manage going through pregnancies, labor, and recovery without medications, prenatal care, and doctors then someone could naturally handle nausea without depending on drugs. Just saying.
Lol uh yeah if that's the case then doctors should be out of business. Trust me when i say we looked up EVERY remedy out there for morning sickness and NONE of it helped. This prescription definitely worked for her and I'm only saying to talk to your doctor.
The doctor will not prescribe you a medication that will harm your child and why would they even give them a prescription for zofran if it wasn't fda approved do not understand at all. And if you get prescribed a medication I would take it only if its necessary and sometimes it is necessary there are other nausea pills rather then zofran and they tell you the side effects its completely your choice if you want to take it.
Really wouldn't recommend prescriptions. I had morning "all day" sickness for the first 5 months and I was prescribed Zofran which is not FDA approved and now has a huge lawsuit for birth defects.. Doctors can prescribe you anything to make a profit. Try eating very plain things peanut butter and toast, plain oatmeal, even orange juice to get vitamin c in you. I know it's difficult but don't goto drugs tons of mothers handle it naturally. One thing that really helped me was Prego pops nausea lollipops for pregnant women! I found them at babies r us for about $5 and there were at least 6-8 pops in there! They worked sooo well that my doctor now tells other mothers about them, or try ginger tea, or even sea bands they make them for pregnant women
Honestly it depends. My missus didn't let up. She threw up about 20x a day - I'm not kidding. We were concerned. It didn't stop until 24 weeks and the only reason it stopped was because she was prescribed diclygis (sp?). It's been a miracle worker. Talk to your doctor because honestly some women don't let up the entire pregnancy.
