I'm worried and need some help and advice.

Before I found out I was pregnant, I was on depression and anxiety medication. It controlled my mood swings for the most part because they get very dangerous. I get angry and put a lot of stress on my body when I'm not on it. But I can't take it now and my mood swings are coming back full swing. What do I do? I'm so worried I'm going to get stressed and it will effect the baby and have a miscarriage. Please help? :(

Talk to your doctor,i suffered bad depression and anxiety myself which had gotten worse once pregnant,she prescribed me a diffrent anti depresent medication and also gave a prescription for none addictive and safe for baby medication for my anxiety.

I have severe anxiety and depression and talked to my dr. she put me back on medication and im so thankful she did. def talk to your doctor about it. i was worried about the risks of being on it during pregnancy and she told me the stress i put on the baby when im off my medicine is way worse then anything the medicine can do.

I was on Xanax before pregnancy for panic attacks. They got worse in the first trimester and even more overwhelming because I couldn't take my meds for them. Doctor recommended Zoloft and/or counselling. I'm doing the counselling now but since I've gotten to the second trimester, things have been much better. I worried all the time that my stress and anxiety would lead to miscarriage, but it turned out okay. If your attacks are super bad, then you should go on Zoloft.  Doctor said it is pregnancy safe for the most part and its better to control mom's anxiety because that itself, untreated is harmful to little one. good luck!(:

Talk to your dr about it. I heard there are some antidepressants that don't harm the baby. Not really sure about that but its what I've heard
