Implantation Bleeding???

Hi.  I am a 28 year old female.  My husband and I are TTC.  On Saturday we had intercourse and I started to bleed pink/red.  The next day I had light spotting.  Monday I had heavier spotting but not enough to fill a pad.  Today I put in a tampon and when I took it out it was just brown like discharge.  I did have one clot this morning.  I am wondering what is going on with me.  My period is supposed to start on 4-7, so this would make it a week early.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I guess my entry was poorly phrased.  We have been TTC and had intercouse on all of my fertile days which was starting the week of the 19th.  Then this Saturday 3-29 we had intercouse and I bled, which was strange and the spotting continued until Tuesday.  The spotting was red/brown and then a brown like discharge.  So same question implantation, or maybe irritation of the cervix during intercourse?  Thanks for helping.

Implantation usually takes place 7-12 days after conception. If you just had sex Saturday, that is not enough time. Also most women have a length of about 12-16 days between ovulation and their period. So maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought? If so, then it could possibly be implantation.
