I gained 25 lbs with my son. The first tri I lost 10 lbs. Most of the weight was at the end and I'm pretty sure it was mostly water weight. I think that is why some people say they blow up at the end...but it's mostly water.

Im just like morrisfamily- i gained the most up until about 25 wks and haven't gained any since. I dont know why my body does that but its normal for me. Everyone is different and unfortunately ur bodies gonna gain or lose what it wants while ur pregnant to nurish the baby. As long as u do ur part in eating right and exercise ull be ok! Good luck

I want to keep it a little lower than my 40 lb with my first because I know how hard that wason my body...so I try to eat healthy, I do walk a lot andim hoping for the best :) if I do gain a lot at least I know I tried :) I have a sweet tooth so its pretty hard, but I switched ice creams to frozen milk shakes lol that I make on. My own, and I try to stay away from chocolate lol

I have always tended to get bigger at the end...more so with my boys than my girl...but my boys give me sugary cravings so its my own fault for giving in!!

I did gain more toward the end but not super crazy. Like a pound or two if I really let myself go that weeks or so. I'm 36 weeks and gain 18lbs so far. I should gain around 20lbs by the time I'm done. I wasn't trying anything to keep it down but I did got lucky in that I only seem to crave healthy food thru out this pregnancy. Like oranges, veggies and cereals, barely touch any sweet at all. But don't worry too much about it, every body need something difference. If you gain too much your doctor will tell you. Otherwise just snack on healthy stuffs whenever possible only because it's good for you and the baby :)

I have gained 48 lbs so far and I'm 38 weeks but I eat whatever I want whenever I want however much I want and I don't excercise much so it's my fault. Eat healthy and take care of yourself you'll be fine

I gained all my wieght in the first and second trimester. I have gained hardly nothing since entering my third trimester. I was 125 prepregnancy and have gained 30 total. Only 5 in the past 6 weeks and that's mostly baby.
