Abnormal Ultrasound - Abdominal Protrusion?

Hi everyone,
I went to the emergency room bleeding yesterday thinking I might be miscarrying (Im 9 weeks).  As it turned out I had a cyst rupture. Upon further ultrasound they noticed that babies abdomen has a growth next to the umbilical cord.  They were very discreet and serious when telling us, which naturally made me an emotional wreck all night.  Any have any similar experiences? Just looking for support :( we are so sad and dont know what this will mean.  Thanks!
