Trace Protein

At the doctor yesterday, they found a trace amount of protein in my urine.  I hadn't eaten any protein, but I have another appointment on the 10th when they will check again.  The doctor wasn't too concerned at this point. Anyway - I'm just curious if this has happened to any of you, and how did it turn out?

I have had trace protein in almost all of my appts this pregnancy as well as last pregnancy. At l&d i had a small amount (+1) of protein in my urine. But it can be a sign of dehydration or other things. If the dr wasn't concerned i would say not to worry unless you have high blood pressure or severe swelling or severe headaches and visual disturbances

Most of the time it means to drink more water. I get told about every ob appointment I have because I have a bad habit of not drinking enough water (obviously) lol. One way to tell if you are hydrated enough is by the color of your urine. If it is dark yellow, you need to drink more. If it is a light yellow or almost clear then you are good :)
