Is it me or Am I right ?

Im 9 weeks pregnant, i told my job I was pregnant since 5 weeks. At 1st they were acceptable about it, told people to help me pick up heavy items & didn't allow me to be on my feet all day. Then one of my co-workers gets really close to my boss and my boss is making me do all the work that she's supposed to be doing. I used to be a cashier and now my boss makes me cashier, floor, and decortate the display all in one day. I'm 17 .. I go to school from 8-3 and work 4-8 and she only gives me Wednesdays off now because the same co-worker she favors "needs a break" and the weekend she gives me 9am-8pm on Saturdays & 10am-7pm on Sundays. So im thinking about quitting because Im getting stressed out, not enough rest, and lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks! This is unhealthy for my baby. But quitting would seem like I dont care about taking care of my baby .. Am i wrong for wanting to quit and look for another job??

I wrk 5 10 hr days. Wen I first found out I was pregnant I was 6 weeks n the boss I had was a total jerk made me get a letter n had me sit all day. An that makes for a very long day. I also have n hr commute to wrk so its really 14 hr days which sux. But I looked into the laws an did my research n I got moved to a different area n they treat me so much better n my co workers lift all the heavy stuff for me. Look into the labor laws n see wat it says about being pregnant cuz where I wrk they have to treat u the same as every other employee n if they dnt its descrimination.

Yeah I may just stick around but as soon as another store calls me I'm out. I just want rest and i always ask my boss for an extra day off, not just one and she doesn't pay any interest into my needs. It ***** being hungry and tired all day and have to walk and stand for hours!

Its like that where I work at too. Its very stressful. They have favoritism also. It ***** but hey I need they money. And they will pay for my maternity leave. But I'm always stuck lofting heavy things. And I'm always working long hours and our bathrooms OMG nasty. I rather pee outside. But like I said I need the money to take care of the precious baby inside me. Hopefully we will find something better soon!

I know how you feel. I hate my job. I talked to my mom about it and she told me to look for another job and get hired somewhere else before I quit. So maybe you should look and then quit because you don't want to be stuck without a job. Now a days they are hard to come by. So yea try to stick it out until you find something better

Before i got pregnant I was 127 & now I'm 114 and I dont have morning sickness and i eat regularly, my doctor thinks me stressing about my long hours at work is affecting my weight loss. They even put me on a diet to gain weight because my baby's the same weight since i found out i was pregnant which was 4 weeks . That isn't good at all. I need a new job :(

I don't think you are wrong for wanting another job of you feel like there is favoritism and you are stressed. But none of the things you mentioned are going to effect your pregnancy.
