Diet? No, but pregnancy is a great time to start eatting healthy! Changing your diet will not only make for a healthy baby but also a healthy mommy after baby comes! Plus what better motivation to get healthy than your baby? Plus you can slowly encorporate exercise like walking or swimming and that will help set a base for you to work off of after delivery. Plus the stronger your core, the easier labor you have! So swimming is excellent! Just listen to your body and don't push too hard just yet. Id talk to your dr about changing your diet so you have an idea of what to encorporate into your daily meals

No. Diets restrict nutrients your baby needs. Is it ok to watch what you eat of course as long as you are getting all the vitamins & minerals & calories per day you & baby need to thrive. Prenancy isn't an exuse to stuff your face with whatever you want but it's also not a time to cut out important foods.
