Pregnant or BCP withdrawal?

I stopped taking my bcp on Oct 4th of this month. My last menstrual period was Sept 28-30. After a couple days of comming off the birth control pill, I noticed pregnancy-like symptoms. Bloating, headaches, nausea, breast tenderness/enlargment/tingling. My husband and I are trying to concieve, but since I just stopped taking my BCP, it's kind of hard to tell if I'm pregnant or just going through pill withdrawal symptoms. Could I be experiencing pregnancy symptoms even before a missed period? Is it even possible to have these symptoms before a missed period? I knew a girl who after a week of stopping bcp, she got pregnant (at the age of 26), then again at age 28. Please help!

Thanks for your comment....

Oh and congrats about getting pregnant right after stopping birth control! That must have been a pleasant surprise..

That's kind of what I'm afraid of after I take the test and it shows negative. I guess I'll just have to wait it out. So incase my ovulation cycle starts out late as well, should my husband and I be "active" constantly? We're trying to get pregnant as this will be our very first baby and are ready.

Thanks again!

It is hard to say because it could be withdrawls from the hormones or pregnancy.  I myself concieved immediatley after stopping my birth control pills for 11 years.  But, I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms until I was about 6 weeks pregnant or two weeks late.  Some women start throwing up as soon as conception happens, others will never have symtoms.  Every womans body reacts differently to the hormone rises associated with pregnancy.  Unfortunatley, the only way to know for sure if you are pregnant is to wait and take a test.  Just a warning since I have been in your shoes is once you come off the pill your cycles kind of go crazy.  I ovulated very late in my cycle and didn't know.  My period didn't show, but I kept getting negatives on test until I was about a week late.  It was very hard to date when the baby would be due I had 3 different due dates.
